It was fabulous to see so many familiar faces over Christmas. Christmas Eve’s acoustic carols, Boxing Day’s Bottomless Lunch & our New Years Eve party all went down a storm.
We’re currently taking a mini break. Renergising for the year ahead. Getting everything sorted behind the scenes.
We’ll be back doing what we love - that’s being somewhere cosy for you to eat, drink & celebrate - from 4pm Wednesday 19th January 2022. Online booking now open.

Join us for almost everyday from Wednesday 22nd December through to Monday 3rd January - food served everyday or just pop by for a drink.
Christmas Eve friend of The George Mat Roberts will be performing acoustic Christmas carols in our courtyard, after the church service at 5pm. Book ahead for food. Just drinks very much welcome.
We will be closed Christmas Day & New Years Day. It gives the team time with their families, as well as a chance to refresh from our New Years Eve party!

The George plays host to local bands every last Friday of the month & local pop/rock band ‘CORRUPTION’ are a favourite. So they’re back this New Years Eve, tempting you to the dance floor with the familiar sounds of the 70s, 80s, 90s & more.
Your New Years Eve ticket is exclusively for the whole night. That means just those dining will be dancing.
