Set in the shadow of the picturesque St Marys Maulden church, overlooking our all-season garden, a few steps from The George. Seven cosy en-suite rooms, each uniquely decorated.
For the comfiest night’s sleep, you’ll find a plump King sized or double Hypnos mattress in each, with super soft bedding and large fluffy towels. More home comforts include:

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. A contract between you and The George Inn will come into existence on the date on which you reserve a room with us. Your contract is with The George Inn.
BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS
Full payment on all bookings is required in advance. We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made in writing by email or letter at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date.
ROOM RATES
Suited to couples or single stays, our rates start at £110 per room. See above for more.
Room 1 can accommodate a travel cot or single mattress if required. Featuring disability access, it is wheel-chair friendly with a large en-suite shower room.
Room 7 has a King sized, four poster bed. All other rooms contain a double sized bed.
Please note breakfast is not included in the room rate & for now is unavailable.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check-in is from 3pm. With prior arrangement we may be able to accommodate an earlier or much later check-in if necessary, please call us to confirm. Should you be checking-in on a day our pub is closed then we will be in touch. Any questions please call 07450263091.
Check out is 11am. Please leave your keys in the letter box outside your room when you leave.
RESTAURANT BOOKINGS
Please check our website for our current pub opening times. Booking in advance for lunch or dinner is always best. Do so here or by calling 01525 841 559.
DISABILITY ACCESS
We invite our guests to discuss their specific needs in advance of their booking in order to give us the possibility to assist and establish whether our property will be suitable for their needs.Please note, Room 1 has disability access with a large and wheel-chair & friendly en-suite.
PARKING
We have a large carpark, you are welcome to leave your car in our car park, subject to availability. Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owners’ risk.
DAMAGE
We reserve the right to make a charge of up to £250 for any damage caused to a room by a guest, this includes damage caused by spillage or vomiting sickness. Any items moved from the rooms will be charged for.
SMOKING
The George is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping establishment. Smoking or vaping is prohibited anywhere in the buildings (The George pub and rooms) and courtyard. Should you smoke in your room our fire system will trigger and we will charge you £150 to your card for having to undertake a deep clean of your room.
PETS
Please note, The George is dog-friendly but we don’t cater for dogs in our rooms.
KEEP SAKES
Should any items be removed from our rooms, such as ornaments, accessories, appliances etc we reserve the right to charge the relevant amount to the credit card the room was booked with.
BAR TABS
We respectfully ask for any tab set up for drinks or food at The George Inn pub during your stay to be settled daily. Otherwise they will be billed to the credit card used to book your room if not settled before your departure.
REGISTRATION
We are required by law to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom shall provide their full names and nationality. All other guests must provide their full name, passport number, place of issue and details of their next destination.
DATA PERMISSION
If you agree we may retain this information for up to 12 months.
